144 High School Scholarships + Online Learning = Students Succeeding!

The GSF provides scholarships to high school for poor students from rural villages in Ghana whose families can't afford to pay the required tuition fees.

In addition, in 2014, we created a computer lab at the Akwamuman Senior High School, which is the local high school attended by all of the GSF scholarship students.

Working in partnership with local leaders and an NGO called EVCOAfrica, 50 computers loaded with 178 gigabytes of online academic tutorials were donated to the high school.

These tutorials offer courses at all levels of academic learning and in all subjects and do not require access to the Internet.

The use of these online tutorials (Khan Academy and others), augment classroom learning, which promotes literacy and knowledge.
